Besides individual appointments for massage and acupuncture, we now offer a variety of classes to inspire and promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition, organic, botanically-based skincare, massage and aromatherapy products are available for purchase in our Asian-inspired retail/gift shop, which is very reasonably priced. Packages including multiple services or multiple visits, corporate memberships, and on-site work are also available and may include favorable discounts. Please see our menu for services and packages.
Our Staff
Sharmin Finn, Licensed Massage Therapist and Owner, Westlake Wellbeing -With over seventeen years experience in massage therapy, bodywork, and spa management, Sharmin offers un-rushed deep relaxation massage therapy and body treatments and manages the Westlake office. Westlake Wellbeing is also the provider for massage therapy services in the Wellness Center, Gregory Gym, for UT Recreational Sports and has performed in that capacity for over twelve years. Sharmin majored in Business Management at Texas State University, received her basic and advanced massage therapy training at The Lauterstein Conway School of Massage in Austin, Texas, and is a Texas Real Estate Broker.
Lori Dupree, Licensed Massage Therapist -Lori has over ten years of experience in massage therapy, is degreed in recreational administration, teaches at one our local massage schools, and is a competitive athlete. Her highly competent deep tissue massage is not for the squeamish, delivered with minimal lubricant, and to be appreciated for those who enjoy very deep work from a highly experienced deep tissue therapist.
Matthew Kirsch -Matthew is a licensed and experienced acupuncturist and bodywork therapist who earned his four year Master's in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine, along with Diplomas in Asian Bodywork and Medical Qigong. Over a seven year period, he has advanced his studies in Visionary Craniosacral Work, earning his certification from the Milne Institute, and developing skill and focus in working with the cranium and the spine to alleviate headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, neck and back pain. His practice is unique, in that he works with one client per hour, first placing the acupuncture points, and then using Asian Bodywork and Craniosacral work to deepen the healing benefits. Herbal medicine and nutritional counsel are also offered.
Mark Odner -Mark Odner is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned his Masters in Professional Counseling at Argosy University in Washington, DC, and has worked in multiple mental health settings. He has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. He offers a blend of traditional and modern therapy to provide a unique approach for everyone. Mark works with clients from all backgrounds, but specializes in working with parents with children diagnosed with diabetes, and those closest to them.
Laura Saldivar, Licensed Massage Therapist -After obtaining a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin, Laura furthered her education at The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage and has over eight years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist. She offers relaxation, deep tissue, and pregnancy massage and enjoys being able to help her clients find relief from stress and muscle pain. She uses her knowledge and intuition to provide a session tailored to her client's needs.
Paula Smith, Licensed Massage Therapist -Paula Smith is a 2004 graduate of the Texas Healing Arts School of Massage with additional training and experience in Hot Stone Massage, Myo-fascial Release Techniques, and Basic Principles of Pain Management in a Therapeutic Setting. In her work, Paula is eager to enhance each client's current health, relieve pain and stress, and aid in recovery from illness or injury. Paula is passionate about her work, has a kind and caring attitude, and is an excellent addition to our massage therapy team.
